Myanmar workers abroad often see more than one MMK number on payday. Today’s MMKHub homepage refresh uses unofficial / community / ground orientation quotes — the range many chat groups and ground desks talk about — not a remittance desk rate and not a bank guarantee.

How we rounded today’s blend (aggregator-style only)
These are orientation checks, not offers from MMKHub:
- ETCurrency P2P (USD): roughly buy ~4,654 / sell ~4,713.5 on the morning of 24 Oct 2026 (~02:45 UTC ≈ 09:15 Asia/Rangoon) — ETCurrency USD→MMK black-market page
- egcurrency (market-style, dated 24 Oct): roughly THB buy ~140.16 / sell ~138.76 · SGD buy ~3,727 / sell ~3,690 — THB→MMK market · SGD→MMK market
Hub display uses a rounded blend: USD 4,650 · THB 139 · SGD 3,700. Aggregators move through the day — treat them as comparison screenshots, not a contract rate.
Three layers — don’t mix the screenshots
If those layers confuse you, start here: Three MMK Numbers on Payday: Remittance, Bank Counter, and Community Quotes.
| Layer | What it is | Reminder |
|---|---|---|
| Worker remittance board | What many bank remittance products advertise (e.g. some CB Bank worker-corridor boards often sit near ~3,985 USD — a different layer) | Often lower than community chat — not the hub ticker |
| Bank online trading / counter | Trading / counter style | Still not community chat |
| Community / ground (hub today) | USD 4,650 · THB 139 · SGD 3,700 | Orientation for payday comparisons only |
What to do before you send
- Open the live homepage rates and note the date.
- Ask your agent or wallet for the MMK that will arrive after fees — not only the headline FX.
- Prefer licensed banks / known wallets over strangers in chat for large sums.
- Screenshot the quote with time before you hit send.
- Walk the Thailand → Myanmar remittance checklist if you send from Thailand.
